Lead Safe Renovations

It is important for you as a valued customer to know that we place the utmost priority on the health and safety of your home. We do this by continually attending industry training and certification classes to stay current on new information and construction methods. It is part of our personal commitment to you. |
Most recently, we attended a Certified Renovator Course provided by the Environmental Protection Agency which allowed us to gain certification on lead safety. This will allow us to perform lead safe renovation, repair, and paint work in pre-1978 housing and in child-occupied facilities where work will disturb lead-based paint.
In September, we received training and became a Minnesota licensed contractor for the Project Re-Energize government rebate program. The program offers rebates for qualified, energy-efficient improvements to existing homes. Even after the program ends, we have gained valuable insight into helping homeowners take the steps needed to maintain indoor air quality, proper ventilation, and preventing mold and mildew.

PROJECT REENERGIZE REBATE PROGRAM
WHAT: Project ReEnergize is a Homeowner Rebate program for qualifying,
energy-efficient improvements to existing homes. The rebate is on
a first-come, first-served basis and is only available through qualified
contractors as mandatory, measurable energy improvements are
necessary in order to receive rebates. The Project ReEnergize rebate
may be used in conjunction with other rebates and tax incentives.
WHO: Project ReEnergize is funded by the U.S. 2009 American Recovery
and Reinvestment Act. Sass Construction, Inc. is a qualified Minnesota
licensed contractor that has received the required training for the Project
ReEnergize program.
WHEN: Launched October 1, 2009, Project ReEnergize offers homeowners
rebates up to $4,000 depending on the scope of the project. NOW
IS THE TIME TO ACT and take advantage of the Project ReEnergize
rebate to protect your most valuable personal investment: your home.
NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT before the rebate money is depleted.
WHERE: In your home! The basic requirements for the program are:
- The home must be owner-occupied, single-family detached
(no shared walls), duplex, triplex or fourplex
- No income limitations
- 3,000 square-foot maximum
- Home constructed prior to 2000
- New contracts signed after October 1, 2009
- One rebate check per household
- Only available through licensed, and Project ReEnergize qualified
contractors

your home environment.

This remodel starts with a 400 square foot 1st floor addition for a new
mudroom and powder room with a utility garage underneath. The 2nd
floor expansion is 780 square feet for a new master suite, master bath
and a large walk-in closet. The master suite features a fireplace with
stack stone surround and master bath with heated tile floors, a slipper
lions-paw foot tub, maple cabinets, marble countertop and a large tiled
walk-in shower with in-floor heat. The remodeled kitchen rounds out the
new 1st floor with beautiful maple cabinetry, granite countertops, tiled
backsplash and black walnut flooring throughout.
